This project is providing technical / administrative assistance to support implementation of the Water Framework Directive. The role of stakeholder public participation (PP) in river basin management planning is being studied. The work will: investigate the role of European data / information tools; conceptualise the social learning processes; provide case studies and a handbook for using PP methods to implement the WFD.
